Our Origins
Disavowed Actual began as an Arma: Reforger community founded by Colin, known as Overlord Actual. After struggling to find a gaming community where he truly belonged, Colin often found himself overlooked, disregarded, or disavowed, even in groups he helped build. Out of that experience, he created what would become Disavowed Actual: a community defined by loyalty, purpose, and respect.

As the community grew to over 55 members, Colin connected with Gary, who shared a vision of transforming this brotherhood into something greater, a brand with a mission. Together, they set out to create not only a home for gamers and veterans but also a platform to give back to those who sacrificed so much.

The Meaning Behind the Name
The name Disavowed Actual carries deep significance.

• Disavowed represents those who gave everything yet return home feeling forgotten, unseen, or cast aside by the very systems they once served to protect.

• Actual is a military term used in radio communications to signify the true leader on the line, the one who bears the responsibility and carries the weight of their team.

Together, the name reflects our mission: to stand with veterans who may feel left behind and remind the world that they are still the actual heroes among us.
